Class Reunions
The 1954 class of New Bern High School held its second reunion to celebrate 40 years after graduation, the weekend of September 24, 25 and 26. A reception was held Friday afternoon at the Comfort Suites on East Fron Street. A barbecue dinner was served at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Pine Tree Drive Friday evening including the classes of 1953 and 1955. A Hospitality Room was open at the Comfort Suites from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Comfort Suites. Dinner was Saturday night at the New Bern Golf & Country Club. There ws also a Sunday morning buffet breakfast served at the Chelsea Resteraurant in downtown New Bern.
