Class Reunions
The 1954 class of New Bern High School held its first reunion in New Bern to celebrate 40 years after graduation, the weekend of September 23, 24 and 25. A reception was held Friday afternoon at the Comfort Suites on East Fron Street. Dinner was served at the New Bern Golf & Country Club, Friday evening. An informal gathering was held Saturday evening at the Shrine Club on Glenburnie Rd near Hwy 178. There ws also a Sunday morning buffet breakfast served at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown New Bern.
