BARBARA JEAN CARAWAY WATSON-OBITUARY
TRENT WOODS | Barbara Jean Watson, 78, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Mary's Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Watson; one son, Carl Watson and wife, Jamie of New Bern; one daughter, Kathy W. Hancock of New Bern; one brother, Charles R. Carraway and wife, Cathering of Tampa, FL; and six grandchildren, Erin Alsbrook and husband, Jordan, Ashley Watson, Emily Watson, George Hancock, Jr. and wife Viwan, David Hancock and wife, Jamie and Sarah Hancock.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary James Watson.Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, at Pollock-Best Funeral Home, with burial following at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
